You might say that my business is made of two halves. I first spent 10 years as a freelance Fashion Stylist and then after turning 30, turned my hand back to photography (after studying at University). This experience in the fashion industry is one that I draw on all the time within my work today.
I’ve had my photography business for almost 10 years now and have had 4 beautiful studios in that time (which is mad when I say it out loud!). Alongside my studio work, I have always photographed clients in-home as well, and I truly believe that these 2 things make me highly adaptive to new spaces.
If I had someone to hold my hand through the process of setting up my own studio and perfecting my workflow, it would have been the most amazing leap forwards for my business.

These bespoke sessions are centred around the images you produce, in your own space and are designed to give you confidence that you can produce a product/image that your clients will love.
Whilst workshops can be a wonderful creative space to nurture your skill set and learn new poses, learning in your own space is invaluable and means that you get the tailored support you need.
Together, we can try new styles, shoot different angles and fine tune your favourite poses to ensure you are using your space to it’s full potential.
I can guide you in the best lens to use in small spaces, give you tips on how to use available light and what simple poses you can use every time to make sure your work is consistent.

7hrs 1:1 mentoring in your own studio space; whether that’s an in-home studio or an external unit.
Pre-session phone call to discuss how you wish to use your time.
1 x 30 min zoom call after your session to discuss any concerns, review session editing or to share exciting improvements
Additional costs:
The fee is to reflect the time Sarah spends with you, and does not include travel time or potential overnight expense for anyone based over 150 miles from Sarah’s home in Surrey.
Where necessary, added fees will be calculated based on travel time & any extra expense incurred and shared with you as a quote before booking.
PLEASE NOTE: I will not be able to offer Bespoke mentoring to anyone living within a 20 mile radius of the Sarah Kate London Studio.

It’s super exciting that you’re already thinking about your future business and ways that you can arm yourself with all the knowledge you need, but this type of mentoring might be better suited for a little way down the line once you have some experience under your belt, and perhaps a space you can regularly shoot in.

I am exclusively a natural light photographer and whilst I do believe there are lots of things we could cover that would still provide valuable experience for you, it is worth taking into account that my knowledge of lighting specifically will not be one of those topics.

Absolutely! Everything we work on together is to help and support you in growing your business and your creative confidence. Everything, along with headshots taken by me, will be included in the session and can be shared however you please.

That is what our pre-session phone call is for, as well as a booking questionnaire to help shine some light on things you want to work on. I know the time parameters of these sessions and what we can realistically achieve, and will advise you accordingly to help manage expectations.
